Are Dental X-rays Safe?

X-rays are a common procedure to help monitor your dental health. At Ivy Lane Dentistry we use digital sensors and lead shielding to minimize radiation exposure. Dental x-rays are very safe; four x-rays are comparable to spending two hours on an airplane or out in the sun. If you have any questions please ask us before your x-rays are taken.
