OUR PHILOSOPHY
Ivy Lane Dentistry became one of the longest-operating family and cosmetic dentistry providers in San Antonio due to our unwavering philosophy for caring for our patients health.
Dr Westerberg believes in doing everything with integrity and that, of course, includes dentistry. His philosophy is simple: Treat each and every patient as if the patient was family. That means you will be given an honest assessment of your condition, excellent treatment, and upfront pricing. Dr. Westerberg will properly diagnosis your oral condition using the latest in technology including digital x-rays (which give instantaneous images with low radiation), itero imaging (helps diagnosis occlusal and orthodontic issues) and intraoral images.
Dr. Westerberg believes communication with the patient is paramount to a better understanding of oral conditions and needs. He will discuss what treatment is needed if any, give you a written treatment plan and all costs will be discussed prior to any work started or scheduled. He has a conservative but necessary approach to dental procedures to help keep your teeth lasting a lifetime. Finally you will never be pressured or be given a high pressure sales pitch to begin any treatment. Once again he believes in dentistry with integrity.

Matthew Westerberg, DDS
Practicing the art and science of dentistry for over 30 years, Dr. Matthew Westerberg delivers excellent quality dentistry in a caring, professional and friendly environment. Dr. Westerberg was born and raised in Northbrook Illinois and received his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Knox College.
He received his Doctor in Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1989. He was selected into an advanced education in general dentistry in Colorado where he learned and performed additional procedures that were not taught during dental school. He has two sons, one is attending University of Texas at San Antonio and the other working in Chicago. When he is not working, he and his wife enjoy supporting local causes as well as spending time outdoors.

Dr. Westerberg has over 30 years of experience practicing dentistry. His motto of treating every patient like family runs deep. In fact, dentistry has been practiced in Dr. Westerberg’s own family since his great-grandfather opened a dental practice in Wisconsin in 1897! His grandfather was also a dentist in Elkhorn, Wisconsin and was a pillar in that community for over 50 years. Dr. Westerberg seeks to continue his family legacy of offering leading dentistry and orthodontic care in the Terrell Hills neighborhood of San Antonio, Texas.
